How to use LBC Send and Swipe Card with your Paypal Account

Listen to the Video Above or you can follow it by reading the post below.

The LBC Send and Swipe card is one of so many alternatives to receive money from your love ones locally and abroad. LBC Send and Swipe card is actually a collaboration with the LBC Express Inc. and RCBC. This card  is linked with Bancnet and Visa affiliated. You can use this card when you purchase in different malls in the country provided that they are capable of catering services for all cards with a Visa Logo.

But there is one thing I don't like in this card, it is not yet linked with paypal. That means you cannot use this card to transfer your money/fund from your paypal account. I called the LBC Express Inc. to their main office and also I called up RCBC in their main office and one thing made clear to me afterwards, it is not yet capable of withdrawing your fund from paypal. I started to have my own investigation when I tried to connect my paypal account to my LBC Send and Swipe card and check the transaction log in my card via Bancnet online but sad to say that my transaction is not reflected there. The Paypal had already borrowed (because paypal will return it after your card is successfully verified) 100 pesos from my card, but the transaction is not reflected to my transaction log. It is important to have the transactions recorded in you card statement for you to get your 4-digit paypal code to complete your verification procedure done in your paypal account, and in that way, you can transfer your fund from paypal to that card anytime.

The RCBC told me that this type of service (which is to transfer your fund from paypal to your LBC Send and Swipe card) is NOT yet available. But this issue had been filed already to their product manager and she assures me that this service will be provided soon, but she can't give me the precise time as to when since that is still need to be settled down.

So as of this time, it is not yet possible for you to use your LBC Send and Swipe card to your paypal account.

There is also one thing I experienced, to have your LBC Send and Swipe Card is also a convenient way to handle your cash, BUT there is a corresponding additional financial charges to your balance. When you receive money from their branch, you don't need to pay anything. But when you withdraw your money in any NON RCBC ATM, they will charge you a certain amount. That means, the person that send you money will have to pay to that branch where he/she send it, and you is also charged for a certain fee to withdraw your money in any non-rcbc atm worldwide. There no problem with it because for sure they will charge you for taking care of your money in the ATM, but don't worry it is just a minimum amount. If you withdraw 200 pesos from your LBC send and swipe card the ATM will deduct 15 pesos from your outstanding balance. I don't know if you withdraw an amount higher than that if that fee is still the same, but i guess its the same, but Im not sure.

So atleast i have provided an information to you whether you can use your LBC Send and Swipe card to transfer your paypal fund is impossible. But I don't know yet as to when this is possible because the two entities is still in negotiation how to provide this service to us.

HOW TO TRACT YOUR LBC SEND AND SWIPE TRANSACTIONS ONLINE

Yes, it is possible to tract your transactions online, but this is only true to all transactions done via BANCNET.

This is how its done:

1. Open the BancNet Online.
2. Click the RCBC link, not the RBCB Savings Bank (please look at the picture below)
3. Then the Terms and Condition Box will pop-up and you have to click agree to proceed.

4. A window ill open for you that looks like this, (please look at the window below)
5. Leave the Bank to be RCBC because our LBC Send and Swipe card is managed by under RCBC Bank

6. At the ATM Card Number, enter your LBC Send and Swipe Card number Example: (4215-8500-1917-2254)

7. At the member Number, look at the 3-digit number found at the back of your card, enter it there.
8. At the Account type, choose Saving Account
9. Then click your pin number of your card using your mouse, you cannot use the keyboard to enter your PIN, this is for security purposes.  Take note, if you're using a public PC like in internet cafe make it sure that no one is looking at your monitor when you enter your PIN, and when you are done, don't forget to restart the PC to erase all the possible stored information from your account.
With the privilege of tracking your transactions does not mean that you can perform everything provided to that interface. I haven't tried to perform any of them yet like, online reloading your cellphone and paying bills. But if you want to try it, why not? It's up to you.
Well, if you have any comments about everything posted here please feel free to write your feedback. HAVE A NICE DAY AHEAD!
